About Audax Groep
Audax Groep is a dynamic media company active in distribution, retail, and publishing. It handles the logistical distribution of print media, operates its own media platform with a reach of 3 million readers per month, and manages multiple retail chains with over 1,000 stores in the Netherlands.

My role & impact
As Senior Marketing Consultant, I was responsible for developing the 2020 marketing strategy for Audax’s retail brands, including:

  • The Read Shop (172 stores)
  • Plantage Boekhandel (99 stores)
  • Marskramer (43 stores)
  • Toys2Play (8 stores)

This was a complex project, as the various retail brands had been acquired from different organizations and recently integrated into Audax. I streamlined the marketing strategy into a comprehensive business case, creating a cohesive and fully developed plan.

Additionally, I:

  • Led negotiations with suppliers, securing better collaboration and terms
  • Developed a new advertising rate structure for the various retail brands

These strategic and operational improvements laid a strong foundation for the continued growth and positioning of Audax’s retail businesses.
